Gerhard Graml studied at the Conservatory of Music in Vienna/Austria and graduated in 1992 with a degree in Jazz Bass and Music Education. Since then he has worked as a composer and musician in various musical settings. He has written filmscores and contributed to several CD-productions and TV- & radio specials. Gerhard Graml has toured Europe, the Middle East and Asia. He has recorded and performed with such diverse artists as beat poet Ruth Weiss, the contemporary music ensemble “die reihe”, Jazz artists Don Preston, Gary Wittner, Herb Pomeroy, Brad Terry and many others. Gerhard's style ranges from Jazz and Fusion to Funk and World Music. He also hosts radio shows on the Austrian Broadcasting Network ORF. Gerhard Graml has taught in Vienna, Portland and in Washington/DC.
